From Logo to Film Set: The Experiential Identity of Thrive
Build a brand identity for a children's values education resource
Twixt were excited to assist Thrive, a new not-for-profit initiative that aims to provide parents and teachers with values education resources for children to thrive in life. We were tasked with creating a complete range of identity solutions for this unique project that merged current kids' culture and teaching positive values.
The Process
We kicked off by understanding the goals and target audience of the project. With two distinct target groups, children and educators, we needed to create content that appealed to both. Our team produced a verbal identity that captured the essence of the initiative, including video series names such as INFO JAM, STEMHYPE, Catch Phrase and Have You Ever, and language for describing Thrive and its many content expressions.

Next, we moved on to the visual identity. Our team created a complete brand identity inspired by the parent organization's existing PLAY POSITIVE production brand. A clean iconic logo for the word Thrive was created, with the T restyled to reflect a "plus" icon and the V restyled to reflect a "play" icon. We also created visual assets for all content and an animated logo option for use in the opening of all Thrive video resources.

We crafted unique Experiential Identities for each of the Thrive video series, featuring distinctive presenter styling, film set design, lighting design, prop development, and custom animations. In addition, we provided design direction for the development of the Thrive website, the primary delivery mechanism for the education resources. This project was highly visually intensive, requiring us to showcase our skills in multiple areas and to push creative boundaries to deliver a cohesive and engaging user experience.

The Result
Working closely with the Thrive team, we were able to create a complete range of identity solutions that accurately reflected their values and vision. By collaborating and exchanging ideas, we delivered a safe, professional, and engaging tool that taught positive values and standards while speaking the language of today's children.

The End
Thrive now has a complete brand identity that accurately captures their story and message, making it easier for them to communicate with their audience. We were honored to be a part of this pioneering project, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Thrive in the future.
